Kick start the New Year by doing something great for your community by volunteering for St David’s Hospice.

St David’s Hospice Shops across Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey are currently looking for people to join their team as a volunteer shop assistant.

The role involves; greeting and serving customers in a welcoming manner, assisting in stock management, manning the till and processing sales and helping to display items on the shop floor and replenishing stock.

Lou Barber, Volunteer Coordinator explains: “It’s that time of year when we start to think about setting a New Year’s resolution – Why not do something amazing and volunteer?

“Our amazing volunteers are at the heart of St David’s Hospice and the services we provide. We appreciate them every day and want to say an extra big thank you to them all for the difference they make.

"If you’ve ever considered the idea of volunteering, but just haven’t got round to making that first step.

“Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and be part of a dedicated team. With over 22 shops across North West Wales, there is bound to be one nearby that would be really grateful for your help!

“A couple of your hours will go a long way to making a difference to ensure that the Hospice continues to provide the best level of care to patients and their families.”

If you would like a chance to be part of a fantastic team, develop new skills and support a great cause, then please get in touch, there really is a volunteer role for everyone.
