Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a motorcyclist was seriously injured following a road traffic collision on Anglesey on Saturday afternoon.
Shortly after 1.30pm officers received a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A545 outside the Texaco Garage near Beaumaris involving a grey coloured Peugeot 207 and a black and white coloured Honda motorcycle.
The Peugeot was travelling from the direction of Menai Bridge and the motorcyclist was travelling in the opposite direction.
The emergency services attended the scene, and the 22-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital in Stoke with serious injuries.
Detective Constable Eleri Jones of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for any witnesses to come forward. She said: “I am urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision and who are yet to speak to us to contact us as soon as possible.
“Equally, I am appealing to anybody who may have been in the vicinity at the time of the collision, or just prior, and who may have dash cam or mobile phone footage to please get in touch.”
