North Wales Police have warned local people to be on their guard against bike thefts after two bikes were stolen yesterday in Conwy county.
One was stolen outside the Happy Shopper in Colwyn Bay and the other was taken from outside Asda in Llandudno.
On both occasions the owner left their bike insecure whilst they went shopping. Now more people are out and about, sadly more opportunistic thieves are mingling around our communities and looking for the chance to steal.
"Buy a lock, protect your property" says Chris Livesey from the North Wales Police Community Safety Unit. "When you think about how much a bike costs to replace, spending just a few pounds on securing your investment is an absolute no brainer".
