With less than a month to go until the World Shore Angling Championships take place on our doorstep, the organising committee have thanked local sponsors for helping support this large scale and complex event.
The committee consists of representatives of the Welsh Federation of Sea Anglers, the Welsh Teams, and Conwy County Borough Council.
Many of the sponsors have been a part of the planning process and are all looking forward to welcoming competitors from many countries to the area for this championship. Supporters have included Colwyn BID, Welsh Government, Gwynt y Mor, Penmaenmawr Town Council, Anglesey Bait Centre, Conwy Town Council, Go North Wales, View Creative Agency, Anglesey Sea Zoo, Yuki, Aber Falls, Laver’s Tide Tables, The Knight Shop, Anyfish Anywhere, Fladen Fishing, and Huws Gray.
The World Shore Angling Championships will take place in Colwyn Bay and in various coastal locations across Conwy from 20th - 26th October. It will be the very first time the event has been hosted in Wales.
