Conwy County Borough Council is reminding local businesses to apply for Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Rates Relief for the 2025 to 26 financial year.
Eligible businesses like shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, and hair salons could qualify for a 40% rates relief, capped at £110,000 per business across Wales.
Councillor Nigel Smith, Cabinet Member for Sustainable Economy, said, “It’s important that businesses don’t forget that they must apply to the Council for this relief so that they don’t risk losing out. The relief is a significant support for businesses.”
If you think you may be eligible or have received Retail Leisure and Hospitality Relief in the past, but have not yet made an application in respect of the current 2025-26 financial year, complete a form on the Council’s website www.conwy.gov.uk/ratesrelief
