Police name motorcyclist killed in Tyn-y-Groes collision

The motorcyclist who sadly died following a road traffic collision on the B5106 at Tyn y Groes last night has been named.

Lee James Roberts was 26-years-old and came from the Penmaenmawr area.

His family have issued the following tribute to him:

“We as a family are devastated by the loss of Lee. He was a much loved son and brother. Lee was clever, hardworking, caring and funny.

"We will miss his practical jokes. He was always there to talk to and enjoyed travelling all over the world. Lee loved animals and was a friend to everyone. We will miss him so much.

"We ask as a family that we are left in peace to support one another.”

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision which happened shortly before 9:30pm and involved a Vauxhall Astra and a motorcycle.
