The family of the woman who died following a road traffic collision in Llandudno Junction last month have paid tribute to her.

Sophie Elizabeth Baker was 31 years old and lived in the Conwy area.

“Sophie loved nothing more than getting up in the morning, getting into her leathers and getting on her motorbike. She would love to ride the hills and valleys of North Wales and beyond with her biking friends, and she loved being part of that community. She was happiest on her bike.

From her siblings – Zak, Sam and Claire:

“She marched to the beat of her own drum, never afraid to be herself – even if that meant being a little messy, a little stubborn, or a little argumentative. And honestly, those were some of the very things we loved most about her. Beneath it all was a heart so full of love and fiercely loyal to those she cared about.

"To our sister – thank you for simply being you. You will forever remain a part of us, and we will carry your memory with us every day.”

And from Sophie’s parents, Julie and Jeff:

“Sophie was a daughter, granddaughter, sister, auntie, niece, cousin and sister-in-law who has left a massive hole that shall never be filled. Loved by us all and constantly missed but never forgotten. Ride free darling.”

Officers continue to investigate the collision which happened at around 07:40hrs on Wednesday, 20th August on the 6G road (A546) at Llandudno Junction.
