Hope House Tŷ Gobaith have today announced the new sponsor for their legendary Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon Sunset Trek.

They have joined forces with fitness facility LVL 5 in Llandudno who are the perfect partners for this physical and fun challenge.

Setting off from the picturesque village of Llanberis on the afternoon of Saturday 27th July, hikers will be guided by mountain leaders to the 1,085m summit of Yr Wyddfa, Wales’ highest mountain, in plenty of time to enjoy the breath-taking sunset over the Eryri range and towards the coast.

Speaking for LVL 5, co-owners Rich Blake and Siôn Pritchard said: “We have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the hospices and are very proud to be supporting this great active event as sponsor.

“Hope House Tŷ Gobaith sit perfectly with our values and we feel it is important to give back to the community – especially as none of us ever know when we may be touched by the vital services they provide.

“The hike up Yr Wyddfa is a great way for people to kick-start or motivate their fitness journey and get together with friends and loved ones.

“Leading up to the event we will be offering special training classes at LVL 5 open to everybody who signs up – so please join us and help make a real difference to local families.”

For a £25 sign-up fee and commitment to raise a minimum of £100, participants will be led by experienced staff, get the opportunity to capture magical photos and enjoy delicious hot fresh pizza on return – as well as securing a bespoke medal and goody bag with commemorative Buff.

Hope House Tŷ Gobaith fundraiser, Andy Everley said: “On the 27th July we look forward to scaling Yr Wyddfa to see the sunset over the glorious Eryri mountain range.

“With the generous support of Rich and Siôn from LVL 5 as our headline sponsor, we march not just towards the summit, but towards brighter futures for the 750 local families we support.

“LVL 5's kindness guarantees that every penny raised will directly contribute to our care, respite and bereavement support services.”
