A locally based firm is celebrating after been featured in a prestigous guide which is consulted the world over by travellers and tourists.
The Knight Shop which is based on the Mochdre Business Park was informed by Lonely Planet that it will publish details of the what the firm has to offer in an updated version of their Great Britain Guide due out in May of next year.
The company which is one of Europe’s largest retailers and wholesalers of replica militaria and associated giftware boasts a 1,000 sq. ft. shop opposite the World Heritage Conwy Castle, a 12,000 sq. ft. Showroom and Distribution Centre in Mochdre, a full time Historical Combat Academy and their own 13th Century Medieval Tower currently housing their Tower Coffee House.
Lonely Planet is an international travel guide book publisher. The Lonely Planet books were the third series of travel books aimed at backpackers and other low-cost travellers, after the Let's Go travel guide series that was founded in 1960.
