Hospices smash target as £474,000 raised in just 36 hours

A fundraising marathon for Hope House Children's Hospices has raised an incredible £474,820 surpassing their target of £400,000.

The appeal, called Quality Moments Matter, culminated in streamed live broadcast from Chester City Centre, and lasted for 36 hours.

The charity, with centres in Conwy and Oswestry, aims to provide young people with adventures and support, allowing them to have the best quality of life possible.

The hospice spokesperson said they were amazed at the overwhelming response to their appeal and the genrosity of funders and the general public.

Ty Gobaith the Conwy based Children's Hospice will be a part beneficiary of the money raised during the fundraising efforts.
