Llandudno Coastguard have reported on a cliff top rescue yesterday after reports of a person shouting for help.

"We were tasked yesterday at the request of North Wales Police to reports of a person shouting for help on the cliffs of the Great Orme.

"Officers on scene were already searching for the person and North Wales Police deployed their drone to assist.

"Due to the potential of the person being stuck on a cliff, Rhyl Coastguard Rescue Team, Penmon Coastguard Rescue Team and RNLI Llandudno Lifeboat were also requested to support us.

"The person was located by police officers assisted by the drone and was safely brought back to the roadside. With the casualty now safe and well, all assets were stood down.

"This morning, the team headed out to assess access points around the area where we have had access issues in the past. We were able to find new routes into difficult to reach places and will now be able to respond much quicker to casualties at these locations."
