Two goals and an assist from Dan Atkins helped Colwyn Bay win 4-0 away to Prestatyn Town to stay a point clear of Airbus at the top of JD Cymru North table with four games to play.
Craig Lindfield and substitute Lloyd Marsh-Hughes were the other Bay scorers in a result which also confirmed Prestatyn’s relegation.
The Bay were 3-0 up by half-time and it could have been more.
Jamie Cumming had a header tipped over the bar by Prestatyn keeper Robbie Williams and George Nugent shot narrowly wide before Dan Atkins got the final touch to put the Seagulls in front on 20 minutes after Jamie Cummings had rounded the keeper and rolled the ball goalwards.
George Nugent then saw a cross-shot hit the crossbar and Craig Linfield brought a good save out of the keeper before Dan Atkins doubled the lead by rounding the keeper and finishing well for his second goal.
Craig Lindfield then added a third goal with a close range header following a good cross from George Nugent just before the break.
Another good save kept out a Jamie Cumming header, but it was 86 minutes before Bay added their fourth goal.
A long ball down the middle was flicked on by Dan Atkins and second half substitute Lloyd Marsh-Hughes finished well from the edge of the area.
Prestatyn rarely threatened, although it needed some great defending by Will McKinley, on his return to first team action after injury, when the home side did have a dangerous break.
