Conwy County Borough Council has confirmed that its schools will open for 4 weeks, from 29 June, thereby extending the summer term by one week.

Conwy’s Cabinet Member for Education, Cllr Julie Fallon, said: “Conwy Council is happy to work with and support our head teachers to keep our schools open for the fourth week where possible for the benefit of our children.”

"We’re incredibly proud of our schools in Conwy for continuing with the plans that were announced by the Minister on 15th May. It’s what we have come to expect from our staff in our schools, always making their pupils the priority.”

More information on the re-opening of schools in Conwy for check-in, catch-up and prepare will be issued next week.
