Health Secretary Jeremy Miles has shared details on the progress of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board which remains in special measures.
The eighth report on special measures progress continues to show weaknesses in critical areas of operation.
Despite improvements in financial management and governance, challenges remain in planned and emergency care performance.
Urgent and sustainable improvements are needed to reduce waiting times and ensure timely access to care for residents in North Wales.
In a statement to the Senedd Jeremy Miles said: "We will continue to provide support and constructive challenge to the health board to ensure it makes the necessary improvements to delivery safe and sustainable services – and timely access to care – for people living in North Wales."
