Over the years I have been piecing together the history of Conwy Water Gardens through stories I have been told, this winter I decided to try and find out when each of the lakes were built as the site has changed a lot in the last 50 years. I did try various methods of research but I had best results with the British Newspaper Archive, I managed to find all the information I was after in just 3 hours. Gathering the information was relatively easy, but collating it and presenting it in a way that makes sense was challenging. It took me several days to complete this video and I have not included all the information I have, I don't think I will be doing another dedicated history video, but I will add the information into my regular videos where it is relevant.
