Creating Enterprise: Creating job futures

April 18, 2020 - 1617 views

With the Coronavirus pandemic sadly dominating everyone's conciousness at the moment, it is easy to forget about the skills training and opportunities which are out there in the community.

If you have been struggling to find employment and the pandemic has effected your ability to reach out to potential employers, maybe now is the time to brush up your confidence, interview skills and CV writing. The Employment Academy at Creating Enterprise in Mochdre aims to provide you with many online courses, advice and help which you can do whilst at home on lockdown.

It doesn’t matter if you have never had a job before, have been out of work for a while or have recently been made redundant Creating Enterprise can help kick-start your future in whatever direction you choose.

I had a chat with Jasmine Rigby who is Creating Enterprise's Community Engagement Officer about what is on offer and what their organisation is all about.

In my short podcast you'll hear about a whole lot about job support and courses such as budgeting which is certainly useful now and in the future.

At the moment their HQ isn't open to call into but you can still go online and book onto a course or give them a call for some valuable advice. You can call 01492 588980 or send an email to employmentacademy@creatingenterprise.org.uk

I hope you find it useful,

Simon.
