Wales Rally GB presented a special Colwyn Bay Stage for the very first time giving the Bay of Colwyn a real boost.
With a special day which included an airshow from the Red Bull Matadors, classic and supercar displays and the finale - the 2.4km special stage which saw world class rally drivers compete at speed all the sea front, this was an event which everyone had been looking for.
Bayside Radio's Jeff Pearson spoke to Alun Pritchard, the Events Partnership Manager for Motorsport UK about how the stage came about and Deputy Leader of Conwy County Borough Council about the economic benefit for the community.
