A major search operation is underway after a 74-year-old walker was reported missing in the Carneddau area of Eryri.
Gregor was last seen at around 10.15am on Thursday (June 25), when he parked his car at Snowdonia Mountain Hostel near Bethesda before setting off on what is believed to have been a hike in the Carnedd Y Filiast area.
Police, mountain rescue teams and other emergency services are carrying out extensive searches as efforts continue to locate him.
North Wales Police said Gregor is described as being 5ft 10in tall with short, curly hair. He may have been wearing a green T-shirt and brown trousers when he was last seen.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have seen Gregor on Thursday or Friday to come forward immediately.
The force is also asking walkers who were in the area, particularly along the Atlantic Slab climbing route, to check any photographs they took in case Gregor appears in the background, as even seemingly minor information could help search teams piece together his movements.
The Carneddau are among the largest and most remote mountain ranges in Wales, with rugged terrain and rapidly changing weather conditions that can make search operations especially challenging.
Anyone with information that could assist the search is urged to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference O100150.
