If you've got flair and an eye for creativity the Imagine project in Colwyn Bay would like to hear from you!
Ahead of the town's St. David' Day Parade, the organisation is looking to recruit an Artist in Residence to provide and inspire creative projects inside local schools.
Imagine Colwyn Bay is an exciting project that seeks to harness interest in the town’s unique past and connect people, groups and businesses through innovative cultural activities, exhibitions and events.
The role which will be funded until March of next year has been supported by National Lottery Heritage Fund. Great Place Scheme, The Bay of Colwyn Town Council, Conwy County Borough Council and Colwyn BID.
The purpose of this commission is to contract an artist in residence to facilitate creative sessions primarily in local primary schools. The sessions are required to provide year 5 and 6 pupils in the five participating primary schools in the Colwyn Bay area with an arts experience linking to local history and celebrating Welsh Culture.
The creative output from these sessions will be used by the schools as part of the St. David’s Day parade.
