Colwyn Bay is buzzing at the news that Simply Red is heading to Stadiwm Eirias as part of Access All Eirias this August.
The news that broke this morning on Bayside by Events Conwy confirms that Mick Hucknall's supergroup will appear in the park to delighted fans on Sunday August 13th.
You can sign up for the chance to secure your tickets before anyone else this Wednesday at 10am before the tickets go on general sale this Friday 11th March at 10am.
Since the release of their debut studio album Picture Book in 1985 they have had ten songs reach top 10 in the UK Singles Chart, including "Holding Back the Years" and "If You Don't Know Me by Now", both of which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.
They have had five number one albums in the UK, with their 1991 album, Stars, being one of the best-selling albums in UK chart history.
Pablo Janczur from concert promoter Orchard Live said; "We are really thrilled Simply Red are coming to Colwyn Bay. It’s been a tough couple of years and coming out and seeing one of the UK’s greatest artists on a summer's evening is going to be fantastic."
