The North Wales coast is set for a few more days of warm and largely settled summer weather before conditions become cooler and more unsettled towards the end of the week.
Across the North Wales coast, including Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Conwy and the surrounding areas, Tuesday is expected to bring plenty of sunshine and temperatures climbing into the mid to high 20s Celsius.
Wednesday looks likely to be the warmest day of the spell, with sunny periods and temperatures potentially reaching around 29C along parts of the coast.
Thursday should remain warm, although there will be more cloud around at times. Temperatures will still be in the mid-20s.
The weather picture then changes on Friday, with temperatures dropping back to around the low 20s and the possibility of showers as cloud and more unsettled conditions move in.
The weekend looks noticeably cooler. There could be a few showers, particularly during the mornings, but there should also be some brighter and sunnier intervals.
Further into next week, temperatures are expected to remain closer to seasonal levels, with a mixture of cloud, sunshine and occasional showers.
The warm spell comes as much of the UK continues to experience unusually hot and dry conditions. Most of England is currently under amber heat-health alerts, while drought conditions are affecting large parts of the country and all of Wales.
For North Wales, however, the immediate outlook is less extreme than in many parts of England, with coastal areas benefiting from the moderating influence of the Irish Sea.
Anyone heading to the North Wales coast over the next few days can therefore expect some excellent summer conditions, particularly on Tuesday and Wednesday, but the advice is to make the most of them before the cooler and showery weather arrives later in the week.
