Arriva buses in Wales have confirmed that strike action is set to begin from tomorrow (Sunday 14 November) as drivers walk out of bus depots across North Wales and services stop.
Local strike action at the Llandudno and Rhyl stations will see passengers stuck without a public transport in many parts of Conwy and Denbighshire.
Strike action begins from 06:00am and could extend to a period of up to five weeks 19 December 2021 unless the company and its drivers reach an agreement. It was hoped that last ditch talks held earlier this week could have averted action.
Arriva will be unable to operate bus services in North Wales and Chester during industrial action although some routes operated from outside the region will still serve parts of North East Wales.
For the duration of the industrial action journey planning in the Wales region on the Arriva website and Arriva UK Bus App will be disabled.
During this industrial action, there will be no planned Arriva bus services operating within North Wales and Chester (Except for Arriva Midlands services 2, 2A and 2C in Wrexham and Arriva North West services 84 and X30 into Chester).
Arriva urges all customers to check one of the following for updates before travelling.
