Residents across Conwy and in particular people living in Llandudno Junction have been warned not to keep valuables in their cars or vans after reports of people tampering with vehicles in the area.
A number of calls have been logged this week by local officers and reports on social media suggest that car alarms and some damage is also being experienced. Many of the incidents appear to have been carried out in the early hours of the morning.
A spokesperson said : "Please be assured that high visibility patrols are being conducted around the Llandudno Junction area. However we do ask you to take reasonable steps to secure your vehicles and please do not leave any valuable items inside".
