Outstanding contributions recognised at RNLI lifeboat ball

Llandudno Lifeboat volunteers have been recognised for their enduring contributions to saving lives at sea at their recently held Annual Lifeboat Ball.

Davey Roberts, Dr JJ Green and Robbie Shields, were the proud recipients of their Long Service Medals, which were presented by Captain Marcus Elliott the Operations Manager at Llandudno.

Jonathan Coe, Press Officer and Luke Heritage, Station Mechanic and Deputy Press Officer also received an RNLI Certificate of Thanks for their support with the production and promotion of the BBC Saving Lives at Sea TV series.

The awards were made at the Annual Lifeboat Ball which was held at the St George Hotel in Llandudno.

The evening brought together crew members, volunteers, family and friends to celebrate the continuing life of the Llandudno Lifeboat.

Lifeboat Coxswain Graham Heritage in his after-dinner speech highlighted the extraordinary dedication of all the Llandudno RNLI volunteers; and, gave his thanks for the much-valued support and understanding given by the wives, husbands, partners and families of all those concerned.
