Cordons and barriers have been set up in Colwyn Bay this morning as North Wales Police confirm that a serious incident has taken place.
A spokesperson said: "We are currently dealing with an incident that occurred in the Greenfield Road / Bay View Road area of Colwyn Bay in the early hours of this morning."
"We would advise the public to avoid the area until further notice, but stress there is no ongoing risk to the local community.
"There will be a police presence in the locality today whilst our enquiries continue, and we thank you for your patience."
