This week is Candle Fire Safety Week, and residents are reminded by North Wales Fire and Rescue to take precautions when using candles in their homes.
The service issued the warning after a number of local incidents and major fires involving candles.
Remember to secure the candles in proper holders, keep them away from flammable materials, and never leave them unattended.
Additionally, make sure to trim the wick, burn candles in a well-ventilated room, and put them out with a snuffer or spoon instead of blowing them out.
