Local Crime: Thefts from cars and a stolen motorbike

Thefts from motor vehicles in the community have continued in the past day say North Wales Police.

Two cars were broken into on Oak Drive in Colwyn Bay and items were taken. PCSO Chris Livesey from the Community Safety Unit warned that owners should check to make sure their vehicle is secured.

"Criminals are active in this area, please let anyone know who lives there to Keep valuables out of sight and check that car doors are definitely locked."

"We have also had another motorbike theft in Rhyl this time the bike was stolen from Maes Bryn Melyd. The bike was stolen sometime between Wednesday at 8pm and 11am Thursday morning.

"If you know anyone who owns a motorbike please let them know to take extra measures to secure it."
