Latest update on COVID-19 infections across North Wales

New Covid-19 figures reflecting two days of cases in North Wales show that the virus is still spreading across the region.

Today's update from Public Health Wales shows 1,238 positive tests but thankfully no new deaths. Denbighshire has recorded 102 new cases, Conwy 96, Flintshire 91, Wrexham 64, Gwynedd 20 and Anglesey 18.

Infection rates across Wales have seen Denbigshire record the highest infection rate in Wales during the past week with 526.6 cases per 100,000 population. In North Wales the average over the same period of time has been 283.8.

Conwy county is ahead of the North Wales average at 362.6.
