A 21-year-old man has been charged with multiple offences following an incident in Colwyn Bay at the weekend.
Shortly after midnight on Sunday, officers attended reports of a disturbance on Abergele Road.
The incident involved a 20-year-old male victim who had sustained injuries following a reported altercation with another man.
Ethan Jones, of Station Road, Mochdre, was identified as a suspect and later detained and arrested by officers.
He was subsequently charged with wounding, possession of a bladed article in a public place, and criminal damage.
Jones appeared at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court for a preliminary hearing yesterday.
He has been remanded in custody and will next appear before Caernarfon Crown Court on Monday, 5 January to enter a plea to the charges.
