Colwyn Bay FC have llned up another addition to the squad by agreeing terms with central midfield player Kieran Nolan.

The 23-year-old came through the youth set up at Bolton Wanderers and has had spells with Runcorn Linnets, Mossley, Atherton Collieries and Northwich Vics.

Bay boss Craig Hogg commented: "I am very happy that the club have agreed terms with Kieran as he is a player that I feel will really improve us as a group.

"He has enjoyed much success in the non-league game in England and has represented some big clubs at various NPL levels. We have seen him in action against us when we played in England and he impressed back then. I know first hand how highly he is thought of within those footballing circles.

"Kier has an excellent mix of footballing attributes. He is comfortable in possession and can play in the right areas, but can be very combative within his role as well.

"He is a threat in both boxes and a real leader, which is something that is often said of people in the game, but isn't so common place with lads of his age.

"Along with the signing of Lewis Sirrell, Kieran is again joining a very strong group of players and that is good for us all. I, like all Bay fans, can't wait to see the new additions integrate and see everyone back together playing for the club."

Kieran Nolan said: "I am really happy to be joining the club and I hope to be part of a successful journey in Welsh football. On a personal level I think the change of football scenery is something I need and I am really looking forward to that.

"I have followed the Bay's progress after their return to Welsh football last season and once Craig got in touch with me, the opportunity of playing in a new country was something that really excited me.

"I am looking forward to working with the gaffer and the rest of the management team and meeting the squad. Promotion is the aim for next season if we can and it is something I can't wait to get my teeth into. I've played at Colwyn Bay a few times in the past and I know how big a club I'm joining.

"That strong fan base is something I can't wait to play in front of."
