After Friday night's storms caused major problems across the North Wales coast and caused major damage to the television production unit at Gwrych Castle, it was touch and go whether I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! would be able to quickly return back to our screens.

ITV have announced that the series will return from tomorrow night (Tuesday 30th November) on ITV and ITV Hub with a brand new show. Ant & Dec will be back presenting live from the Castle and celebrities will be back in the camp.

A spokesperson for the series explained. "Production worked round the clock to get the site back up and running after Storm Arwen caused substantial damage over the weekend.

"We've yet to reveal our first vote off date, this will be announced as normal in the daily update.

"There will be a live public vote (for a new Trial) during tomorrow's episode with Ant & Dec revealing the result to the campmates live at the end of the programme.

Tonight however, Freddie and Jamie's DNA Journey will air (Monday 29th November) at 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub in place of the planned I'm A Celebrity episode".

Despite the set back of recent days, the channel has revealed some very impressive audience viewing figures to the North Wales set series so far.

Recently released seven day consolidated data shows the audience for this year's launch show has risen to 11.1 million viewers, with catch up viewing included.

This represents an increase of over 3 million viewers once recorded playback and viewing through ITV Hub is taken into account, making it the biggest entertainment audience of 2021, across any channel.

The launch achieved a 77% share of 16-34 viewing, which is the biggest ever share of this demographic for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
