January 24, 2020 - 1431 views

It's time to huddle up as girl's football is back in a big way after a successful pilot programme in the summer!

And what better place to get involved than with the Penrhyn Bay girls who have forged a reputation for being one of the country's top clubs for developing children's interest in the sport.

The scheme aims to give young girls the confidence and skills to take their love of football forward and help young people right across Wales to join in the fun.

Huddle is a multi-week programme in conjunction with the Football Association of Wales, which has been developed to create confidence, find friendships and give girls a great football experience.

Then if they want to carry on playing football, the Huddle coordinator will help point them to the place where they can join their local club.

Huddle is for girls aged between 5 and 12-year’s old and is open to all abilities for those who may have played before or those who have never even kicked a ball but wants to give it a try.

The sessions take place on Monday evenings from 5.30-6.30pm at the Creuddyn Leisure Centre. It happens weekly with the exception of the school holidays.
