CSW volunteers are given training and equipment by North Wales Police to monitor vehicle speeds in their local area and report offending vehicles back.
Officers can then issue the drivers with warning letters or, where excessive speeds are being recorded frequently on specific roads, put further speed enforcement measures in place.
