The Conwy and Denbighshire Public Services Board (PSB) have produced a draft Well-being Assessment for the region and want to hear people’s views on the issues and opportunities identified in the assessment.

The Conwy and Denbighshire PSB is a collaboration between public bodies who are working together to improve economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being in Conwy and Denbighshire.

Under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 each Public Services Board (PSB) in Wales must periodically produce and publish a Well-being Assessment. The assessment outlines what well-being looks like across the region and what residents and communities want well-being to look like in the future.

The PSB has been working to develop their draft Well-being Assessment over the last year explained a spokesperson:

"It has been informed by engagement with our residents and stakeholders and also uses other information such as data, evidence and research. Helping us to understand the current situation as well as ensure we plan for the future.

"As part of the Boards next steps, the PSB want to hear organisations and people’s thoughts on the issues and opportunities identified in the draft assessment.

"If you would like to give your views on the draft Well-being Assessment, you can do so until 14 March 2022 by visiting the draft Well-being Assessment on the PSB website.

"Alternatively if you would prefer to submit a response on paper, have additional accessibility requirements, or if you would like more information about the consultation, please contact 01492 574059 or email countyconversation@conwy.gov.uk.

"The feedback provided will help the PSB finalise their draft Well-being Assessment.  Based on consultation feedback we will make amendments and publish a final version in April 2022.

"Once the Well-being Assessment has been approved, the PSB will then work on developing a new PSB Well-being Plan which will also be consulted upon before publishing in 2023."
