Have your say on housing and planning in Conwy

The Conwy Local Development Plan must be reviewed every four years it is this provides the framework for the development and use of land within the County Borough.

It also provides a reference point for making decisions about local planning applications. As the local planning authority, Conwy County Borough Council are responsible for reviewing and if needs be, updating the policy.

The consultation on the LDP preferred strategy is underway and will last 8 weeks.

The public are invited to submit their views on the LDP preferred strategy, which includes details of key places; scale of change; sites that are key to delivering the LDP; and infrastructure that’s needed; along with information on how the LDP will be implemented and delivered.

Friday 2nd August: Abergele Library 10am – 5pm
Monday 5th August: Llanfairfechan Town Hall 10am – 6pm
Monday 12th August: Llanrhos Old School 10am – 6pm
Tuesday 20th August: Sure Hope Church (The Interchange) Old Colwyn 10am – 6pm
Thursday 5th September: Glasdir, Llanrwst 10am - 6pm
