As Easter and the tourist season approaches, North Wales Police have joined with colleagues at Cheshire, West Midlands and Shropshire Police to launch their Operation Ceasar campaign.

This is their annual campaign which focuses on the reduction of motorcycle fatalities.

A spokesperson said: "We took our very own North Wales Police Federation Welfare Van as well as some of our Volunteer Bikesafe observers - encouraging bikers to sign up for our Bike Safe courses as part of our drive to help keep motorcyclists safe on the roads.

"We'll soon be launching our very own all Wales Operation Darwen campaign - our annual campaign to reduce motorcycle-related deaths and serious injuries on the roads. We'll be promoting rider safety and you'll see high visibility patrols being carried out along key routes which have been identified as risk areas.

"In the meantime if you're interested in booking a space on one of our Bike Safe workshops please visit https://orlo.uk/sKTqJ."
