A 58-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision involving a car on the A470 in North Wales.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the Crimea Pass, between Dolwyddelan and Blaenau Ffestiniog, at around 1.32pm yesterday (Sunday, August 9).
North Wales Police attended alongside North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust.
The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Coroner has been informed and specially trained officers are supporting the rider's family.
Police are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was travelling along the A470 Crimea Pass shortly before the collision and may have captured relevant footage on a dashcam.
