Conwy County Borough Council is reminding businesses and small charities not to miss out on support grants from the Welsh Government which are available to help them during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Welsh Government Finance Minister, Rebecca Evans, recently announced a deadline of 30 June for businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors to submit their details for grants up to £25,000 which are available.
The scheme was recently extended to include grants for small charities operating in the retail, leisure and hospitality sector.
Conwy’s Business Rates Team has written to all businesses that haven’t yet been in touch to submit their details to encourage them to do so.
The Minister also recognised the ‘tireless effort’ of local councils in Wales in delivering over 52,000 grants across the country since they were announced on 19 March.
