A new North Wales app which is taking people on an adventure into the past has been applauded by Clwyd West MS Darren Millar.
This week Mr. Millar met with some of the team involved in the development of a Imagine Heritage Trail app for Colwyn Bay.
The app is a fun way for locals and visitors alike to learn more about the rich heritage of Old Colwyn, Colwyn Bay, Rhos on Sea and Mochdre and was the result of hard work and collaboration of many stakeholders.
Developed over 2 years with the help of Tape Music and Film, 334 local people, including local historians and schools worked with 22 local artists and creative facilitators to develop 52 creative pieces for the app during 295 community workshops.
He said: “It was great to meet with the some of those involved in the development of this fantastic new app on Monday.
“A lot of hard work has gone into creating it and the end result is very impressive indeed.
“The Bay of Colwyn has a rich heritage and this app enables people, whether they live in the area or are just visiting, to find out a great deal more about it.
“It is an excellent resource for those wanting an adventure into the past, and I encourage people to download it.”
