Fire crews remain at two wildfire locations in North Wales as firefighters continue to monitor and deal with small areas of fire activity.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed crews and officers are currently attending small seats of fire at Conwy Mountain near Capelulo and the Rhinogydd mountain range near Harlech.
The service has reassured residents that seeing fire appliances returning to the areas is part of ongoing monitoring and firefighting operations and people should not be alarmed.
A stop message has now been received for the incident at Braichmelyn Forestry near Bethesda, meaning crews are no longer required at that location.
The latest update follows a period of intense wildfire activity across North Wales, including the major incident declared at Conwy Mountain earlier this week after flames spread across the hillside and forced 36 properties to be evacuated.
Residents around affected areas are being reminded that wildfire sites can continue to smoulder for days after flames have been brought under control, with crews remaining vigilant for any signs of flare-ups.
Firefighters are continuing to assess conditions, monitor hotspots and take action where required to prevent further spread.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service has also urged the public to remain cautious while dry conditions continue, warning that even small sources of ignition can quickly lead to fires in open countryside, moorland and forestry areas.
