A North Wales planning consultancy is expanding its presence in Wrexham and Chester after promoting two members of its team.
Cadnant Planning, which has offices in Conwy and Pulford has promoted Sion Roberts to Associate Planner and Jack Lally to Planner.
The company says it has had a busy summer, securing new projects particularly in affordable housing, working with developers, landowners, housing associations and organisations involved in education and infrastructure.
Managing Director Sioned Edwards said the promotions reflected the company's investment in developing its staff as the business grows.
Sion Roberts, from Y Felinheli, joined Cadnant four years ago after working in planning roles with Gwynedd and Conwy councils. He is a Chartered Town Planner and is now involved in larger developments and affordable housing schemes.
Meanwhile, Jack Lally, from Prestatyn, joined the company two years ago as a graduate with no previous experience in the planning profession.
He is continuing his studies part-time towards a postgraduate Master's degree in Town Planning, with the aim of eventually becoming a Chartered Town Planner.
Cadnant says Jack has progressed to managing his own planning cases and supporting major applications.
He said the company had given him the opportunity to learn about a wide range of planning applications and gradually take on more responsibility.
The promotions come as Cadnant continues to develop its presence in north east Wales, with the company saying it has ambitious plans for its Chester office and the wider Wrexham area.
The consultancy also attended this summer's Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, Sioe Môn and the Flint and Denbigh Show.
Sioned Edwards said the business was now looking to hear from experienced planning professionals in the Wrexham and Chester area who may be interested in joining the expanding team.
