The Conwy Business Hub is inviting local business owners and entrepreneurs to take part in a free two-part webinar series looking at how artificial intelligence could affect the future of small businesses.
The “AI and the Future of Your Business: Protect It, Scale It” series is being delivered by Small Business Britain with support from BT, and will take place online on Wednesday 14th and Wednesday 21st October, both starting at 10am.
The first session, “Protect It”, will focus on using AI safely and securely. Lee Stephens, Director of Security Advisory Services at BT, will look at issues including data protection, choosing trustworthy AI tools and protecting business and customer information.
The second session, “Scale It”, takes place on October 21st and will look at how businesses can use AI to support growth. Dr Detlef Nauck, BT's Head of AI and Data Science Research, will discuss developments expected over the next year, how businesses can build an AI strategy that grows with them and how smaller companies can use the technology to compete with larger organisations.
The Conwy Business Hub says the sessions are aimed at helping small business owners understand both the opportunities and risks associated with AI, with practical advice they can use in their own businesses.
