After an eventful season, Colwyn Bay Football Club have just posted a heartfelt message to their players, support team and supporters.

The statement on their website reads:

As the dust settles on the season it’s a time for reflection, but most importantly to recognise and thank those who have worked hard throughout the season.

This season was a tough baptism in our debut Cymru Premier campaign but the experience will hold us in good stead for the future.

Thank you to Steve, Tosh, David and the backroom team for their work and efforts not only this season but for their time at the club and in particular the memorable 2022/23 campaign.

You have ensured your place in the history of our club and we will be forever thankful for that. Diolch yn fawr.

Despite this season’s disappointment conclusion, no one can question the effort and the commitment of the coaching staff and the players.

To our fans – Your support has once again been fantastic. The Registered Supporters scheme has had over 200 members this season and everyone at the club is grateful for your continued backing – the best supported team in Welsh domestic football. Diolch yn fawr iawn.

We also thank the volunteers for their work at the club, on matchdays and non-matchdays and a special thank you to Dave and Phil for  their work managing the turnstiles.

Thanks to Hayley and the canteen staff, Chrissy, Donna and the bar staff and Elfyn our groundsman during what has been a difficult season on the weather front.

Thanks also to our partners and sponsors – most notably Go2People and club sponsors 4 Crosses Construction – as well as everyone who sponsored a player, advertising board, match or matchball during the campaign.

Thanks to Glynne at Yellow Fly Media for his work and also to the media and commercial team and to our programme partners Match Day Creative.

Thank you to everyone involved with the Academy – in particular to Steve Giblin – and the Juniors and a special thank you and appreciation to the players, coaches and all the families for your dedication.

Thanks also to the Supporters Committee for their continued work and to Gary ‘Coaches’ Lloyd for organising away travel this season.

We’ll be back – Fe godwn eto.
