Bosses at Colwyn Bay Football Club are absolutely delighted to announce news of the new CBFC Foundation.
The CBFC Foundation aims to be a leading community charity, building better lives through sport and use the power of sport to help make a difference to many lives regardless of age, gender or race.
Director of Football Neil Coverley, Brian Madden and Neil Brampton have become the first three members of the newly formed foundation.
Neil Coverley commented: "We’ve spoken about projects and to interested partners to assist in the vision of delivering the aims. It will grow and have members added to it, so it’s a really exciting project we are all committed to move forward.
"The Football Club has a huge presence within the local and wider community and to be able to give something back to those who need it most really matters to us.
"Whether it is taking disadvantaged children to a theme park or paying for a family to go on holiday, it will be extremely rewarding to create some smiles and memories along the way.
"We look forward to planning over the coming months and as the world opens up, following the most turbulent of times, we'll begin the projects and objectives we all, as a community, can be proud of."
