Four more players have agreed terms for next season at Colwyn Bay FC including stalwart defender Will Bell who will be in his third season at the club. Jordan Carrington and goalkeeperas Andy Coughlin and Paddy Rutter have also agreed terms.
Since skipper Tom McCready committed his future to the club last week, 18 of last season's squad have now agreed to sign on again - which is fantastic for the club and their hopes of continuing the progress the group have already made.
Manager Craig Hogg commented: "Will Bell, Tom McCready, Jordan Carrington, Alex Downes, Andy Coughlin, Paddy Rutter and Darren Thornton (no longer at the club) were all members of our final squad in England and our first squad back in Wales. They are all uniquely part of this club's history."
Will Bell has made 69 appearances for the Bay and has missed only three games out of 72 over the past two seasons.
The manager commented: "It is really good news for us that Will has agreed terms with the club for next season. He has had another good campaign for us, scoring his first goal for the club away at Flint, when he popped up with the winner on the day.
"His reaction to that goal, along with the reaction of his team mates, really came from the heart and that was brilliant to see. It was clear what the Bay means to him.
"He has been a consistent performer for the club in my time here as manager, giving everything for the badge and growing into a highly respected figure within the camp."
Will Bell commented; "I am really looking forward to getting back in action with the lads and like everyone else in the game, I can't wait to find out when we will be playing football again.
"The gaffer, our director of football and the rest of the coaching staff here have shown faith in me ever since I first walked through the door. We've got the best fans in the league and we all want to repay them for how they got behind us last season."
The manager continued: " I am also really pleased to confirm that Jordan Carrington, Andy Coughlin and Paddy Rutter have agreed terms with the club.
"Jordan has been Mr Reliable for us and has played in some massive games for the club and never let us down. He is a Bay lad, a Bay fan and I'm pleased to announce he continues to be a Bay player.
"Andy made some very important saves for us last season, including a couple of key injury time penalties to ensure we got the three points in those games.
"Paddy is a really good young keeper and I know that competition for the number one shirt will be strong."
