Clwyd West MS Darren Millar has paid tribute to Her Majesty The Queen, commending "her dedication and devotion to public service, and her strong faith in Jesus Christ."
He said: “The death of Her Majesty The Queen leaves a huge hole in my heart and the hearts of many. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
“Queen Elizabeth was an outstanding monarch who served our country with great dignity and energy for longer than any of her predecessors. She was a gift from God to our nation and all those other realms and territories which were proud to call her their own.
“I will be eternally grateful for Her Majesty’s dedication and devotion to public service, and her strong faith in Jesus Christ, of which she spoke often and was an example to us all.
“May she rest in peace and rise in glory.”
