Bryson signs £9m recycling deal with two local councils

Bryson Recycling, a Belfast based social enterprise company has been awarded a new 7 year contract to operate in Conwy county.

The news comes on the back of a joint contract between Conwy and Denbighshire County Council for Bryson to manage five household waste recycling centres across North Wales.

Bryson, who have run the Mochdre and Abergele reycling centre since the award of their initial contract in 2014, have promised to increase the size of their operation and provide local communities with many more opportunities to recycle and cut unncessary waste.

The company have provided a comprehensive garden waste collection service to properties across Conwy in recent years.

The deal, estimated to be worth around £9m, will now see three more locations in Denbighshire taken over from Welsh firm CAD Recycling.
