Bayside goes worldwide with 'virtual' church services

June 13, 2020 - 1532 views

In these times, its good to know that Bayside is there to keep people company across the Bay of Colwyn on 87.7FM.

But did you know that the station is listened to around the world in over 100 countries each day and on Sunday churches in Africa join up with Colwyn Bay to enjoy special religous services which stream live online and on catch-up?

It has certainly been a surprising turn of events said Bayside Radio presenter and pastor of Pensarn Family Church Jeff Pearson.

"Each week we enjoy having many people from around the world listen to us along with many from along the North Wales coast which turn to us whilst the churches are closed.

'In the past month I have been invited to guest preach at churches in Europe and Africa mainly as a result of congregations tuning in and listening to my service.

'It's amazing and I can't quite believe that our little Colwyn Bay community radio station has been making waves across the world on a Sunday!"

Whatever church you belong to or even if you dont normally attend a church Jeff invites you to join him this Sunday morning at 10-00am for a time of praise and worship.

This week Jeff is speaking on the parable of the sower and how we need to stand on Gods word especially in these times of uncertainty around us. Jeff says why not tune in and join his happy congregation who come together each Sunday?

You can also enjoy a second 'virtual' church service with Canon Quentin Bellamy, the vicar of Old Colwyn which also streams on demand here.
