Bay appeal after two are seriously injured in aggravated burglary

North Wales Police have appealed for witnesses following an aggravated burglary in Colwyn Bay last night (Saturday, June 19th).

At 11:20pm officers were called to an address on Abergele Road following a report that two people had entered a flat and assaulted it’s two occupants using weapons.

Both occupants, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital with serious injuries but thankfully the injuries are not deemed life threatening.

Detective Constable Sean Harrison is appealing for witnesses. He said: “Our enquiries are underway and we are urging anybody who may have witnessed suspicious behaviour on Abergele Road, near to the junction of Rhiw Road to contact us.”
