Striker Ash Woods has rejoined Colwyn Bay FC from 1874 Northwich and full-back Kieran Evans has signed from Gresford Athletic.

Ash returns to the Four Crosses Arena for a second spell having joined the Bay originally in September 2018 and made 26 appearances for the Bay in the 2018/19 season – the club’s last in England – scoring nine goals, including a couple of braces in a 2-0 away win at Kidsgrove Athletic and  a 5-2 defeat at Colne.

He has also had spells with Altrincham, Trafford, Atherton Collieries and Northwich Victoria and after leaving the Bay had a couple of injury-hit seasons with West Didsbury and Chorlton before joining Northwich.

Kieran played youth football for Johnstown and Wrexham before signing a professional deal with Chester. He joined Gresford from Runcorn Town in 2018.

The 25-year-old left-back played for Gresford against the Bay at the Four Crosses Arena in December.

“I’d like to thank both Northwich and Gresford for their co-operation with the transfers,” Colwyn Bay's chairman Neil Coverley said.
